Just to make sure you ask him to show you some identification and he produces a university identity card. You hand him the real memory stick. “Thank you!” he says in his thick accent. He turns abruptly and leaves, leaving the door open behind him. His people skills need some work.
You close the door behind you and head towards the room the
professor and Emily is sharing. Emily is
in the same state as you, a clean body in dirty clothing. Kate also enters the
room, completing a trio of people who clean and dirty at the same time. You

shouts and runs out the door.

of stairs. You get to the lobby but he is not there. You run to the entrance
and catch a quick glimpse of the mountain of a man getting into a car.
As the car pulls off, Kate comes screaming up in your rental
car. Emily and you dive into the car and Kate starts driving, following the car
you point out to her. Following the car at a safe distance is not too difficult

forests on both sides of the road. Dusk is falling as your target pulls off
onto a side road and disappears into the forest.
