You keep your appearance of confidence. You smile and nod at the man, marching at a fast pace down the corridor, keeping up the appearance of someone who has to be somewhere else urgently and doesn’t need any interruptions on his way there. He looks at you questioningly and get back to his papers. He bought it. You are a door away from where the Intelligence Liaison Office is. You listen for a second, but not a sound comes from behind the door.

Taking a deep breath, you open the door and go inside. On the desk is a picture and it is one of the agents with his rather unattractive wife and a litter of kids.

You search the desk and find the disk on one of the drawers. You let out a sigh of relief, grateful that whoever left it here was careless enough not to lock it up in a safe. You go back to the door, open it slightly and peek down the corridor. It’s completely deserted.

You sneak out back into the waiting area, where there are still people making a fuss around Kate. You blend in easily enough into the crowded waiting area. When she sees you she says: “My, I feel much better! I better get to a doctor.”

She turns around and they head for the exit. You decide that your desire to travel has also drastically diminished and you and Emily head out.

You hand the data to Kate and she promises to get it to her friends. The professor and Emily decide to go with her.

Two days later, a big news story breaks that the new technology has been released on the internet.

The end, go to the epilogue.
